While DOTD is normally responsible for mowing the grass on the side of the interstate, the mowing of I-10 and I-12 in Baton Rouge is a unique situation you should be aware of. DOTD has contracted the East Baton Rouge City-Parish office to do the mowing along the interstate rights-of-way within the Baton Rouge city limits. The parameters on I-12 are from O'Neal lane to where it meets up with I-10, and on I-10 from Siegen lane to Scenic Highway on I-110.
