Dense-Graded Asphalt Pavement
An overlay or surface course consisting of a mixture of asphalt binder and a well-graded (also called dense-graded) aggregate. A well-graded aggregate is uniformly distributed throughout a full range of sieve sizes. (Also see Hot Mix Asphalt)
