What is the Adopt-A-Road Program and how can I be part of it?

The Adopt-A-Road Program provides an opportunity for organizations and businesses to adopt an area of state highway for the purpose of removing litter at least four times a year. To adopt a road, an interested group should:

• Contact the DOTD district office in order to verify availability of the area to be adopted.
• Fill-out the contract and mail contract to the appropriate DOTD district office.
• The district office will notify DEQ of your adoption.
