Causeway Bridge (Lake Pontchartrain)

The bridge is not a part of the Louisiana Transportation and Development system but is owned and maintained by a controlling body which is the five-member Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission (GNOEC). The Causeway includes the bridge system and the Causeway Approach road system on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain.
